Day 3, Understanding the Weave Challenge

I played with Aspen a couple days ago and she was just great. Sideways toward me is coming along as is the Z4/5 driving. But what's really coming along is the weave. Got F8s with FLCs and the weave at the trot. She's taking more responsibility for maintaining direction (the pattern through the barrels) and gait. I've yet to ride with the weather and footing and lack of time - so that part of the challenge has yet to be started but this session was Day 3 of the 7 Day Challenge for Understanding. I'm very pleased to see Aspen finally grasp the concept of the pattern and take more responsibility. Hoping for some riding tomorrow! :)
